Police arrests a man accused of raping a mother and her 5-years old daughter

Kashmore, Sindh: Police arrested a fraudulent for allegedly raping a woman and her minor daughter for two days after luring the the former with a job offer in northern Sindh’s Kashmore district, police authorities told Islamabad Telegraph.

Police arrested the suspect while an accomplice is currently at large, officials said.
Kashmore Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amjad Ali Shaikh confirmed the suspect’s arrest and said police teams were raiding suspected places to arrest an acc. He said the woman and her daughter accomplice.

This correspondent learnt that victim hails from Karachi who came to Kashmore along with her minor daughter after accused lured them offering a lucrative job. Upon their arrival, accused shifted mother and daughter to a flat where he along with an accomplice raped mother daughter several times in a couple of days.

“We have got their medical exam. Samples have been taken and sent to laboratory for forensic and DNA examinations,” SSP told ‘Islamabad Telegraph’ over telephone.

As per detail the woman had come across the suspect at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) in Karachi nearly a week ago. The suspect “promised the woman that he would get her a job at Kashmore Toll Plaza and she readily agreed,” a policeman said.

As per report of Dawn, the woman arrived in Kashmore over the past weekend and met the suspect. Two days later, she approached Kashmore police, alleging that the suspect had raped her after she reached his residence, and he then handed her over to another man living near the Sindh-Balochistan border. That man also allegedly raped the woman, according to SSP Shaikh.

The woman told police that the suspect held her five-year-old daughter hostage, saying he would only let her go when she brought him another woman from Karachi. According to police, the suspect also gave her some money to cover her travelling expenses.

Police devised a ploy to arrest the accused and managed to do so flawlessly.
A case was registered against the two men on Tuesday on the complaint of Kashmore police under under Sections 376 (punishment of rape), 344 (wrongful confinement for ten or more days), 420 (cheating) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code. Besides the two suspects, one unidentified person was also nominated in the case by police.
